I saw this and just had to join! =3
I wasn't going to make this too complicated, but got carried away and now I don't know how many hours this took D=
This is an OC I created years ago, so I'm kind of hesistant to change her =\ I've already done some minor changes like her name, but most of it is like it was back then. I'd love to make some more creative outfits for her, but considering her bio plain clothes are kind of fitting.

Edit: I improved the coloring slightly and added some more info

GAH! I just noticed her height is off >.< It's supposed to be 5'9''

~Hitomi~
She originates from Fortree city, where she grew up with her parents. Her mother works at the Weather Institute and her father is a Pokémon breeder. Due to this she has lived closely with Pokémon her whole life and her father has taught her many tricks, including how to make pokéfood (and sewing). She had originally planned to become her father’s apprentice and take over the work someday, but upon meeting her first Pokémon she decided to become a trainer instead.

Having grown up in a city situated in the trees she is very close with nature and spends as much time as she can being outdoors. She enjoys most outdoors activities, especially tree climbing. Hitomi is calmed by the sound of the frequent downpours of her hometown and she misses it greatly, so when raining you can often find her standing outside facing the sky.

She likes to match her Pokémon and therefore her father, who happens to love the pokéball design, has sewn all her clothes in similar colors to those in her party. Therefore her clothes are not expecially extravagant, but she doesn't really care about such things. Though she's considering buying, or sewing by herself, something nicer to wear at special occasions.

Since she spent most of her youth running around in the woods she doesn't have many human friends. Being such a free child her parents couldn't bring themselves to make her attend school, nor did they have time to homeschool her. Thus Hitomi often discovers new things she's never heard of before. The fact that she can't read or write is something that she doesn't like to admit. Though, her father did teach her how to calculate "Money is food, never forget that" he once told her.

~Totte~
He is a dreamer and will often wander around without paying much attention to the things around him. Hitomi spotted him one day when he was strolling across a large branch high in the air. Totte was daydreaming as usual and lost his footing, after which Hitomi dashed forward and caught him, taking the impact herself. The incident lost her the vision on her left eye and feeling guilty the Pokémon followed her home. They have since then been inseparable. The only time he’s focused is during battle since he will never let his trainer become hurt again.

~Howl~
She didn’t find this one, instead Howl found her. Hitomi had only just started her journey and was camping in the woods when she suddenly noticed a Growlithe lying next to her. She believes that it was the light of the fire that drew her in. Howl is very protective and will be suspicious of any new encounter, but despite this she refuses to evolve in order to get bigger. If she loses sight of Hitomi she will run around howling like mad until she finds her.

~Raichai~
He is the child of the party, always playing around. Raichai will make a toy out of anything, including other Pokémon. Therefore he clashes with Roy, who will use hypnosis on him if he’s bothering him. On the other hand he gets along perfectly with Tripper, playing hide and seek in the holes dug by the other team member. He’s in love with his tail.

~Roy *shiny*~
When Hitomi spotted a shiny Ralts she just had to catch it. It’s just that he didn’t want to be caught. She lost count of how many pokéballs she threw at him, but eventually Roy was hers. But he didn’t want to cooperate and Hitomi felt bad since she had forced him into her party and thus tried to make him friendlier with pokéfood. Now he has warmed up to her, but she often has to bribe him with pokéfood. However, Roy doesn’t want to collaborate with other Pokémon and will rather face two enemies by himself that with the aid of another.

~Sally~
Hitomi traveled all the way to Meteor Falls to see the dragon Pokémon she had heard about and ended up catching a Shelgon. Sally is kind, but rather dimwitted. After she evolved it was obvious that she had been born to fly, but Hitomi quickly realized that she definitely wasn’t born to land. She now makes sure to land away from civilization, preferably on a large field, to minimize the damage. Sally loves people, but if you see her flying towards you - whatever you do, don’t just stand there!

~Tripper~
He is curious and if not stopped he will dig everywhere to see what lies beneath. Tripper won’t sit still for a second unless he’s eating, something that he enjoys almost as much as digging. He is the newest member of the party. Hitomi found this fella in the desert at route 111, or rather; she stumbled into one of his holes.

~How did she end up on the island?~
Not liking to travel by boat she was soaring through the sky on Sally’s back, looking for a new adventure. Sally being who she is thought she saw something interesting down on one of the islands below and decided to land. After crash-landing on the beach Hitomi found out about the competition and decided to join.
