oh my, that used to get me so angry when I was 12. I loved Jurassic Park but... lets admit it. Its less of a dinosaur movie and more of a monster movie. The inaccuracies run high.honestly, the bird wyvern Great Maccao (its from the game Monster Hunter) is more scientifically accurate than these beasties, and that raptor is fake! So I'm glad you are trying to educate others on the true nature of dromaeosaurs. Not trying to sound like a dinosaur elitist or anything, its just that I love my angry, meat-eating turkeys. :I so good on you! I would love to have a chat on Terror birds one day with you as I am doing a personal project on them.

To be honest, I prefer the Jurassic park velociraptoe than the scientifically accurate ones

And that's perfectly fine to have that opinion, so long as you don't start telling children, or people who have no clue what a dinosaur is that Velociraptors were 6ft murder-lizards instead of turkey-sized murder-birds. (Deinonychus were the 6ft murder birds)
All dinosaurs had a chance to evolve feathers and we know of 40 species with solid evidence for feathers including tyranosaurids, Triceratops and of course, Velociraptor.

Bonfire or Flourite is where I've seen them most. I used to see a few advertise for Dino RPs for User-made maps and things, it hasn't happened in ages so maybe if you want to RP as a dino you could advertise for one, it'll give a breath of fresh air in amoungst all the lion prides, warrior cats and wolf packs.

Microraptor also has known coloration; black with blue iridescence. There's evidence for feathered adult tyrannosaurids too. Could best be said that all dinosaurs at least have some quills.

I knew about the Tyranosaurids and other large therapods, but a great deal of paleontologists, and myself agree that infant Tyranosaurids had feathers, or down, but quickly grew out of it as their body temperature and Mass leveled out.
But, I did not know about the Microraptor, it's good to know that another feathered Dromeosaur's colours have been found.

There's even more; (besides Microraptor and Anchiornis) we know the coloration of Sinosauropteryx, Sinornithosaurus, Inkayacu, and at least the pattern of Archaeopteryx and Confuciousornis. There's some stuff on the way, there are people studying Yutyrannus' coloration... and that of an hadrosaur if my memory serves me well. And besides dinosaurs, a few months ago another study revealed the probable coloration of an ichthyosaur, a mosasaur and an extinct leatherback turtle. I think that's pretty much all for now, but I may be wrong since I don't keep up with the non-dinosaur scientific literature as much as I should (shame on me). Now, there's people criticizing these studies within the scientific literature (for a few reasons which I'm not willing to post unless you ask me to - because I'm lazy) - they have published a few papers but nothing terribly conclusive IMO.
As for whether or not large tyrannosaurs had feathers (and how widespread feathers are within Dinosauria)... that's another story that I'm too lazy to tell at this moment, but suffice it to say that the evidence suggests that feathers (or "proto-feathers") are the rule, not the exception within Tyrannosauroidea.

Yutyrannus huali is only know from an adult specimen and is covered entirely in protofeathers.

Do you mind if I elaborate on this a bit? The paleo nerds I work with have sort of... rubbed off. wen it comes to nitpicking.

Yeah, sure.
I'm hoping to be a paleontology in the future, so some knowledge can't hurt.

You shouldn't stop caring. Dinosaurs are epic and fascinating because over the past 200 years we have discovered so much about them, and their environment and new discoveries are being made daily.

oh my, I LOVE YOU. THANKS FOR SHARING A BIT OF PREHISTORIC CULTURE. I was sick of people thinking velociraptors where just as portrayed in the Jurassic Park's movies.
Also, you, dear, just went though my most FAV dinosaur kind.
Love you.
So much.
