i... i'm going to be honest here. i like the older version better.
the newer is cuter and has more flowing hair, but the past one seems more concrete an less 'cloud' like. It seems more clean and concrete, if that makes sense.

I'm going to sound weird, but I think that the hair at least was better in the older version. It looks more detailed in general, as apposed to the newer picture's generalized hair, with some detailed wisps/singular hair(s) here and there. Just my opinion, granted. Aside from that, yeah, newer picture looks better, wow...

I really like how you've improved; the hair has more shape and flow to it, the eyes have true emotion to it, and the background and graphics look much more...professional!Β

I think the lighting in the newer on adds an almost spiritual note to Pinkie's character, even when distressed.Β

I must say I like both, but in the new one I can see way less mistakes (isn't that normal though? x'D)
What I'd like to point out that I didn't earlier is that, in the second one you actually did something amazing.
Pinkie pie has a part of Pinkamena in her (my opinion) that will probably let it out at times but it won't let it
take over her. I don't know if I am clear, but in the second picture, there is light in the shading. That's what I love the most.
You managed to capture Pinkamena perfectly, but in the way you coloured this, you gave life in pinkie pie inside Pinkamena,
reminding everyone that Pinkamina will never take over. And it's kinda like a lesson actually... probably that, when you feel sad, it is okay to cry,
but never let sadness take over you.
Man that was pretty deep that that's the way I saw it haha ; v ;
