really sketchy style -v-''''
although I really like looking at neat pictures, I just cant do them. Don't have the patience I wanted to finish all my unfinished pieces XD. Decided to finish this one today ^^ not enough time to start on a new one or anything big. I think i want to stick to some more sketchy styles. This is me trying darker themes fail. All those lighting issues D:

Things to know...
Farm animals: What on your platter there? some nice meat. You think that poor children are sad? At least it isn't a holocaust. Farm animals literally live in a holocaust their whole life. They are treated as nothing but tools of money. Who in the world would beat a child and leave them in a sunless room their whole life? Cut them alive? Let illness taint them until they're blind? You think animals don't have feelings? they have intelligence. That should be plainly obvious.

Let me start off by saying that this is a very lovely piece. There is nothing wrong with having a loose style, which is what you have. In fact, looser pieces, in my opinion, can be more fun to look at!
This work was very striking for me, partly due to the fact that I didn't expect such a dark piece from you, but mostly due to the rich and very impacting colors you used! The work is melancholy, but does not lose the dynamic feel it has. Your technique here is wonderful; don't let the sketchiness of it fool you! Sketches can be wonderful things, and you certainly pull it off real well. Don't think that just because your work doesn't have perfect line art or perfectly clean colors, that it isn't great. So many people make this mis-judgement about their digital work, when a lot artistry comes from how painterly a digital piece can look. You want to know something? I appreciate your work largely because I can see a thumbnail of yours in my messages and know immediately that it's your work. It's this unique style you have that will make you noticed in the eyes of the DA community.
The only thing I will say in a critical perspective is that I've seen so many dark works of Luna or her alter ego that it just doesn't stand out as a concept to me anymore. That being said, however, your take on it is different as I've never seen fire involved. Woah. Bloodmoon? Cool.
Try to emphasize the edges of Luna more by upping the amount of backlight (light hitting behind the character).
You also may want to better frame the subject by filling some of that negative space around the left and right sides. The curtains only being on the center windows throws it off a bit.

yeah I think the light is reflected off of the wings wrong and the curtains are unrealistically short, but this is still better that what I could do! I personally like the sketchy style, sometimes even more than the cleaned up styles!

somtimes taking too long on one can hinder your creativity. Your work is wonderful the way it is and as stated above this is also a first iʻve seen a Luna with fire in the background scene. Keep up the excellent job you do.

Oddly, enough this piece perfectly reflects Luna's heart in the fanfic I'm writing. A rebellion had erupted in Equestria and cities are burning and Luna's heart is broken over the words she spoke to the one she loves.
