15 minutes before the marriage...

The Wacky Racers were preparing themselves as bestmen and bridesmaid for Red Max and Anna´s wedding.
The ceremony was going to be a private one only to friends and family, as reporters or photographers didn´t knew about the wedding or, even, its details.

In the bride´s room...
Lena: I´m happy that you´re going to get married, me and your father were waiting this day to come but we never imagined that it would come that early.
Penelope: (chuckles a bit) Well, we didn´t made some of the preparations for the wedding because of the races and planned it in a bit of a rush, but today will be a good day for love (opens the closet, grabs a light blue veil and puts it on the bride) There, ain´t ya love it?
(Anna gets up from her sit and looks at her reflection with the veil on)
Anna: I love it, Penny.
(The door opens, and a slightly middle-aged man, with greyish-brown hair and wearing a honey-brown suit enters in the room)
Wilhem: How´s my bright-eyed butterfly?
Anna: Father, I thought that you weren´t going to make it in the wedding.
Wilhem: Nonsense, I wasn´t going to skip my daughter and future son-in-law´s wedding ceremony for nothing.
Lena: And despite of having not meeting your in-laws yet, I hope that they can change their minds.
Anna: Okay.
(A knock of the door is heard)
Penelope: Who is it?
Prof. Pending: (from the door) It´s me, it´s almost time.
Penelope: Yes, Professor, we´ll meet you in 20 minutes (turns at the bride and family) Let´s go.
They left the manor, with The Ant Hill Mob and Professor Pending waiting to take them to the place where the ceremony was to be held.
In front of Endelweiss...
While Penelope and The Ant Hill Mob were taking Anna to the wedding, the bestmen and groom were paciently waiting for them.
Peter: You´re going to enjoy being married, old chap.
Red Max: Ja, but it will be a new chapter in my life and you don´t need to worry that we´ll not leave you or the races for a long time.
Private Meekly: Yeah, and your replacement isn´t going to stay for long as he has important races in space.
Sgt. Blast: About that, Mr. Phink didn´t mentioned that he sometimes disappeared from the races and that Captain Good was a little suspicious to me.
Peter: I agree with you, sarge, but he said that was a technic to make Phantom Phink to think that he´s on his way to win.
Rufus: Enough talking, the bride is coming.
And some seconds later the wedding had started, when Anna exited from the car and almost everybody gasped from seeing in the bridal gown, and her father had taken her to the altar to meet her soon-to-be husband. They were cointaining their emotions during the ceremony, when the priest declared them as newly weds, all guests cheered with joy.
