Description
The sky burned with a sudden brightness, as if the sun wanted to blind them before night had the chance. Harsh shadows and brilliant light surrounded the pair, the gentle wind of a faraway storm playing through their hair.She grinned, for a precious moment forgetting all that lay behind them and goddess knows what lurked ahead. "Let's rest for a moment and watch the sunset,"she murmured to her companion, moving her fingers through his silky mane and watching violet sparkle through it.
He nodded and came to a standstill beside the black stone wall that divided her kingdom from an unknown fate. She sat upon it, staring at all she had to leave behind. Her smile faded with the sun.

edit: Altered the original slightly thanks to a suggestion, turned the gray stone black to (hopefully) pull the colors together. This was my ver first picture using Prismacolor colored pencils.

Sweet fantasy art
the combination of colours is very eye catching. orange and purple make the image very lively and vivid. you also did a nice job in shading this piece.

I like this picture. The colors here are very nice, and a great choice, they mesh well. I think you should probably shade alittle more, to make things more defined, especially on the horse's face. The wings of the girl could be a little bigger, but since this picture is mostl done I understand that it would be a bit hard to do now. Just know for next time! You did a wonderful job with shading on the hair of both the horse and the faery, and overall, it's a very well done picture. Keep up the good work!

Great coloring job!
The grey area could go a little darker, I think. I mean, it's a large area that lacks the variety you find in the other areas of the artwork- There's black areas in the background and dark lines surrounding other parts of the image that the grey shape doesn't share. That's not really necessary, though; just a small suggestion.
I love the movement and the sensitivity in the coloring- as well as the brightness of the colors. The border makes me purr, especially in the lower left corner. The composition's great as well- it doesn't have any big lacking areas so it has a nice professional touch to it in that respect. Great work!
