His life is ephemeral, he needs to fly farther possible,
it doesn't matter much whether he falls flat on the ground for his last fluttering.
But, obsessed by the time who elapses, this little while which remains
He cant neither abandon this heavy watch, nor stop to check it;
That's why, his fly is irregular...

La ptite histoire du papillon
Est-ce la premiere fois que vous voyez un papillon avec une montre ?
Sa vie est ephemere, il lui faut pourtant voler le plus loin possible,
Peu importe s'il tombe de haut au dernier battement d'ailes.
Mais, obsedΓ© par le temps qui passe, ce peu qu'il lui reste,
Il ne peut abandonner cette lourde montre, ni cesser de la regarder;
Voila pourquoi son vol est irregulier...

It is amazing how you are able to make a simple idea, like the butterfly's irregular fly- into something so amazing as this. I adore the idea of living things carrying a watch on them, because there's truth behind that. We can't look at it and we can't take it off, like the butterfly. And the butterfly, such an ephemeral being, like you said, has no real sense in life as we see it. It can only fly... and fly some more.
I won't essay on the painting technique, because ALL of your images have an astounding climate, they ALL make my flesh creep and I seriously love them all. I don't have enough experience or knowledge about painting, so I don't think I can really say too much about it... but I am always supportive of your art. Congratulations on your vivid imagination.

That's an incredible picture.
The atmosphere is stunning, on the one hand I want to be there, want to watch the butterfly flying around, but on the other hand it is so melancholic and conveys a feeling of good-bye.
The butterfly is very well done, it looks so fragile and like it is about to kind of 'fall' into the light, with no chance of escape.
The words in the description match well with the picture, and it's overall feeling.
I love how the band between the butterfly and the watch looks somewhat old, but yet strong enough to connect those two, like the watch belonged to other butterflies before, and will belong to other butterflies.
And I noticed that the watch doesn't have this knob to adjust the watch hands, like there's no chance to turn the time back or forth.
All in all this picture is great, like someone commented before 'poetry for the eyes'!
