I love how the 'water' looks like the universe and he's just floating alone and naked in it, his eye's shut and dreaming so he doesn't have to look at what's happening, but he still looks happy, even if it's not with his situation.

You've seen "Immortal Beloved", right - the movie about Beethoven? I assumed that you were inspired by the "Ode to Joy" scene.

I'm confused because you named the artwork after a Bach song (that I love), but the scene appears to be from the Beethoven movie. Maybe you were inspired by both?

This one reminds me on the scene in final fantasy (juna&tidus) on the lake of illumina. Fallen in love till end of time but it's just a dream...no way to be together. A kiss, a deep breath, immagine a life together, accept it couldn't be...and a kiss floating on water and finished in tears.
