MERMAID! And an evil one, at that 
I got a white gel pen this weekend, so I really wanted to use it. I love it
It really provides some fun contrast as opposed to black.The reason it's so small/long is because I just used a watercolor paper scrap. I think it looks pretty dandy like this, though
Plus, I was really having fun with all the textures...
I'd love to post more often, but we are back in class tomorrow
So goodbye to free time and paintings.... Oh well...

Anyway, I really like the graduated wash and texture used for the bubbles and scales.
On the other hand I went out and bought Divergent. I haven't read it yet, but thanks for recommending it to me.

I get worried about those kind of things a lot as well but I think it's good so far. I only got around to reading chapter 3 of Divergent but I hope to finish it soon.
I'm pretty good. I've been procrastinating a lot... I was planning to do a lot of things over the Christmas holiday but it turns out that's not going to happen. The good thing is that I finally know what's going to happen in a part of my book.

Yeah, it took me a while to get into it. Well, not really. I read maybe two chapters, put it down for a really long time, and read the rest in a day 
Haha, I'm such a procrastionator too, sometimes
And YAY for figuring out you book! I hate it when I just sit there with no clue what should happen next

Yeah, I'm definately going to have to re-read Divergent and Insurgent again before the third comes out. Ahh, the downsides of being avid readers... Waiting years between books...

I thought of that too! But then I'd be all self-conscious, and afraid of losing it/damaging it... so it's just going to hang happily on my wall
