So, ya, Wash the pilot from Firefly/Serenity playing with plastic dinosaurs on the console of Serenity, while he is *supposed* to be flying it.

I like how the dinosaurs were a recurring theme through the rest of the series.Β In "Bushwhacked", when the feds are searching Serenity and turning everything over, we see more of Wash's collection in his bunk, too.

Wash is wasted as a pilot, he should be a writer. His talent for believable dialogue is incredible.

They all took part in the scripting.. but joss whedon wrote it the best. A LOT of the show was random things that actually happened ... they did a lot of improving on scenes to keep it light and funny because they were all so humorous individually. Like Alex Baldwin (not related to Alec Baldwin) (Jayne) thought of the whole Jaynes hat bit himself. The whole cast is responsible for the awesome funny moments
