that's true...plus I have a feeling there was another player involved...someone who manipulated everything and when pink learned the truth she was overcome by guilt and etc. And I suspect that person's white Diamond (She never mentioned her but from the way she talks Pink could have felt like White was on her side, but had to "keep an image" that's why she didn't really help her; making her think she was the only diamond who cared and managed to manipulate her through her choices)

From the new promo, it seemed Yellow and Blue were unaware of the fact that their final attack's effects on Earth Gems. If White is responsible for their attack corrupting instead of outright destroying the Crystal Gems, that kinda sick on her part. Think about it, fusion was not only the rebellion's biggest boon during the war, as the powers and abilities gained through fusion meant any random assortment of Crystal Gems had an ace up their sleeve, but was their ultimate act of defiance as they wanted to use it as an expression of love. And the other Diamonds essentially created the fusion equivalent of an STD to wipe them out.Β

We'll just have to wait and see, honestly, I'm more interested in Steven sorting out his conflicted feelings about Rose, this kid has gone back and forth about her and now with the Pink Diamond reveal, he still seems pretty shaken up about it.
