Description
Taken around about 7:30pm from Old Willunga.I wanted to get a little closer to the jetty, but the tide was a little too high for my liking. Also next time I might have to try a to go easy on the iso.

Is the light light pollution or sunlight or both...? It is pretty cool to have stars and sunlight in the same photo

Very nice to look at. Kind of reminds me of the calm desolation one might sense when looking at a similar photo taken in the Arizona desert. The color distribution looks pleasing and organic in how the blues are pulled down from the sky to the bottom of the picture, creating a nice sense of color distribution balance. In fact, that seems to be the case with the oranges/yellows and blacks as well. The colors are also somewhat complimentary, adding to the appeal of the composition. Lastly, I enjoy how the blue-ish pillars in the foreground draw attention to the blue-ish stars peppering the overcast sky, which may have otherwise gone mostly unnoticed due to the powerful point of interest created by the setting sun in the composition.
