[CLOSED 11/30/2018]Guess which state in the United States that this MLP Photo was taken in! If you guess correctly, you get Points!
Comment below with your guess (one guess per DA User).
First three users with the correct place (State in this case) get 20 points! First three users that guess a state bordering the correct state can get 5 points. First five users with any guess get 1 point. After a few days when several people have had a chance to put in their comments, we will award the points and close the contest. If you have already gotten first prize for one of these contests, you can still get 10 points, but we will let someone else have a chance too.

The arc sure looks like the gateway to the west in St. Louis. I have never been to St. Louis or Missouri (only ever been to the US back in 2002 for a students exchange), but judging from maps and fotos I guess the image was taken on the Illinois / East St. Louis shore of the Mississippi.

The points will be very helping when I got to extend my core membership soon. Thank you also for the fun game. I got a little obsessed (in the most entertaining sense of the word) in trying to figure out the exact spot via google maps. With the arch in front of and to the right of the skyline the photo had to be taken from kind of a west-south-western direction. It also had to be taken from the top of an elevation to look at the arch over the tops trees. I didn't find the exact spot on streetview (the spots I found that seemed about right always had the view on the arch and skyline blocked by trees and buildings), but it was a lot of fun to search for it
