Description Here it is! The next page featuring everyone's favorite knight of the realm!
I gave this one some extra thought, both in the dialogue, and in the way I was doing the art.

For the dialogue, I was reading through a book on comicing, and looked at the method they used to create a joke. I realized that my joke was really flat because I wasn't setting up the punchline. In this it's a bit obvious that the situation is going to get bad for the knight just based on the dialogue, but I am trying to push in one direction and then jump in the other direction so it actually is funny.

For the art, I was thinking that leaving in the pencil lines before scanning gave it more shading and character, but after trying it both ways with this page, I like the cleaner look, and it actually looked less white-washed than the other one.

Also, I'm thinking that an every-other-week schedule is going to be the reality of my situation.

Are you talking about The Comic Toolbox? I have that book myself, I love it. I don't think I could have braved the creation of B&F without it.

I actually have " Drawing on the Funny Side of the Brain". I'll check out The Comic Toolbox, but I am curious, what have you learned from it?

A great deal. So many people said that you cant teach/learn comedy. I've learned different elements such as the rule of three, doing the unexpected and the essence of the concept itself: comedy is truth plus pain. (e.g. Why did the chicken cross the road? To prove to a 'possum that it could be done.)

Looks very nice, I like the shading. I can't wait to see what trouble the knight gets himself into next!

Technical detail, I think you mean to say you will be updating once every two weeks. Bi-weekly implies two updates a week.

You are indeed correct! XD

I guess some part of me was just being really hopeful.
