Arya Eddardevna Starkova pushed through the press of bodies around her, slipping through legs, stepping on toes that elicited hisses of, "Ey, Dura! Smatri!"

She paid them no heed, though cruel men and babas tugged on her long brown braid, pawed at her threadbare palto. Her boots were muddy and soaked with slush by the time she reached the middle of the square. It didn't matter. Her heart had stopped anyways. How could the damp cold of Moscow ever hope to touch her when her father knelt in shackles on the great stone of the square, begging for mercy?

She saw beautiful Sansa, standing beside Tsarevna Cersei Tywinevna with a strained, polite smile upon her lips. And then she saw little Tsar Joffrey Robertlevich and his wormy, twisted mouth; a mockery of a smile. He said words that echoed through the holy square, though she could not hear them. It didn’t matter. She saw the firing squad raise their arms and heard Sansa's scream.

Arya Eddardevna closed her eyes, tears on her lashes, and listened to a hundred cracks split the sky.
