In that particular part of the story, Nagato had already used his "Gedo Rinne Tensei no Jutsu" resulting in a complete consumption of his remaining chakra. Because Nagato actually ages, the more chakra he uses up (see for example the fight against Hanzoo), his hair had turned white right before he had passed away. And thus, because "Edo Tensei" doesn't restore any physical damages done to the body of the reanimated before they had died, Nagato was both aged and still crippled after being revived (that's why Itachi carries him).
