Yeah I've gotten conflicting reactions about the reflections on the wall. Some people love it, others hate it. I think the reason why I personally like it is because it shows the area to me. Like, I _KNOW_ there's a big office building right across the one lane road from it, and that one road is all that separates the traditional from the more modern. I guess for people just looking at this one image, it could go either way.

This mosque as you said is not only brilliant but so is its reflection on the Bat bldg. Many deviants from Bh have this in their gallery!

Yeah, there really isn't much in Bahrain to photograph, and symbols like that are really fun to take pictures of.

Some great places for structure/architectural photography (especially) at dusk/evening are the BFH site, Bahrain N Museum Complex, Citibank/Ahli Bank Seef, Muharraq Bridge, Manama from Muharraq Coast.
The only problem is Bahrain aint a really safe place for people on their own anymore

I assume the lighting on the tower is partially coming from a reflection on a building behind you...which I really like... Its very unussual, the vertical stips of light, faint, but there. I like this.

Yeah, the light was reflecting off of the building behind me. I didn't actually notice it until you guys pointed it out, which shows how much I analyze things, hey? But out of all the shots that I took from a bunch of different angles, I did like the lighting on this one the best.
