Description
I bought these already built so I did not construct them (which is why you can see the obtuse and sloppy use of obvious glue which I would never have allowed on a finished piece I constructed myself) But I did stain them as they came in a boring and hideous pale shade of popsicle stick colored wood material. After staining them I carved the Celtic design on the center table.

This was actually a surprising amount of work considering the fact that It came already built- which I suppose is why I am posting pictures of it before really considering it to be adequately completed. I certainly intend to carve the seat of the chairs to match the table and probably the heads or backs of the chais as well. I may add markings on the bottoms... not sure yet...

I am also considering what it would be like to additionally burn this piece... what kind of depth it might add or detract from whats already there... uncertain...

I tried the lace over the top of it and of course it fits perfectly and that is weighing on me... I am thinking that I might like to make a leaf-themed tablecloth and seat covers to add to this... though at the same time I think to myself... why carve them so ornately just to cover them up?
