Though technically Switzy's name is Basch. Though apparently Basch is usually a surname! [link] Also it has a lot of Jewish/hungarian/austrian origin it seems.

Well there's a huge impact Austria has on Switzerland in the manga/anime's cannon world... And well needless to say the German/French influence in Switzerland. Sephi's friend was just telling her recently (who lives in Switzerland) how if she drives for an hour they'll be speaking swiss-german, and not swiss-french like she speaks. I guess that's why it makes sense to me. xD

...Also, someone tried to argue with me the other day that no woman in all of Russia -ever- uses feminine endings on their last names. Am I right in thinking she was incredibly stupid? ;__; I even tried to say "Was it in a more westernized city like Moscow?" and she said I was being rude. /Still so much anger.

(maybe she was joking or that was kind of special things idk <_<’’’)Nobody cancelled feminine endings in Russian (especially in last names), no matter, from which region you are (and the same thing with many other Slavic languages) – if your passport says that you’re Ivanova -not Ivanov – Ivanova you are, until you not going to change your gender There are some endings of last names which can't be declined, but it's usually imported ones :> Some girls doesn’t use feminine endings in their speach ironically or as internet slang (all that "liek wanna moar")- but it's an intentional distortion anyways:>

She wasn't! DDD: She kept going on about how I needed to "go out and get some real knowledge" and how she lived in Russia for 3 years.

She got really offended too, because I had made a joke about hermaphrodites (aka "dickgirl" was the -joking- word I used) since that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the name written like "Ivanna Braginski" I was like... Both male and female? What?
I tried to say that the name changes in Russian and she got all crazy, oh god it was just odd! But I was like "Am I wrong? ;A;" I'm so happy to hear I was right. My world would have been shattered~ *dramatic fff*

Thank you so much *A* I seem to be slacking behind the rest of my class... /o\ So its really nice to hear. I want to learn so bad, but I'm so slow... ;v; ♥ S-so many verbs...!
