Description
The feathery coat a peacock wears
is out of colours vibrant.
And when this bird once sheds some tears
the tears are all pure diamants.

I had the sketch for this picture in my sketchbook for YEARS! *shame on me*

Well, it needed some time until I had collected those glittering papers – as they were wrappings of a chewing gum (I know, a lame excuse) ...

The gold paper are from chocolate sweets (Ferrero Rocher). The gold basement for cakes (don’t know the english name for it) I coloured golden.
The background is an old gift wrapping paper I found and loved instantly. Loved the bronze fine artwork in the background and just needed to use it!

Details in the face and wings are drawn with coloured pencils, details in the feathers done with acrylics and markers.

There is also a gem stone as a TEAR near the pecocks eye (if you cannot see it).
