Sometimes an hour is all the time I can get, so having a rough sketchy approach can really help. Got to admit though, I'm pleased with the hair too.

I'm really flattered by your comment on my piece but I have to say that yours is just as (if not more) amazing! (and she's really cute!) I really like how sketchy it looks (always preferred that over the really neat portraits). It captures a lot more.

Problem with young nieces is they grow up so quick. Already this one's out of date.
Oh well, time to crack out the pencils again, I guess
