Okay, this is the ONLY ship in Potterverse I give any sort of a care about (and I have done so for months, just look in the Gallery), as it's the one that makes the books: Merope Gaunt/Tom Riddle, Voldemort's parents. And yes, it should be written this way, as (for reasons those who have read the book will know) Tom was not the dominant one of this relationship. It shows in this picture: the secret is inside Merope's cup!I think I did pretty good with Merope's wall eyes; I had worried about not getting them to look right.

Another wonderful picture. ^.^ I love the Merope/Tom (senior) coupling, as well. And your style (I guess it's Merope's eyes..) reminds me of Natsumi Ando's in this deviation. Very nice picture.

But of course... like I said, I love how this ship turns gender roles on their heads. Merope must have been wondering what to do with him once she had him in her clutches; after all, she'd always been the one who had been oppressed before!

Well, the ship is every feminist's (like me) dream: the roles are completely reversed! The poor, ugly, oppressed girl gets the rich, handsome, gentleman! Kudos to JKR for turning everything around in this ship (even if it's because of the love potion...). What's more, the guy is the uke! How cool is that?
Thanks for your comments; I'm not sure what I was aiming for with Merope's facial expression; the wall eyes kind of change the dynamic of her face, making it dificult to tell...

Did you ever considered that she's pretty much a rapist? She used love potion to ruin life of man she loved by forcing him to love her back and yes, Tom is proof that he did it with her. Against his will.
