Technically speaking, Kid is indeed a Reaper, which would pretty much make him the next Death God after Shinigami-sama. However, he's still a child, a pretty naive one too, who is still singularly known as 'Shinigami-sama's son' despite the fact that he seems to be growing in power and talent lately. That's a tag that'll stay for a heck of a long time, don't you think?

In other words, Kid is pretty much cruel Death in it's childlike and perhaps most innocent form, which is why I draw him without the serious look and aim for a look of purity despite the fact that he IS a Shinigami. I don't know about all the fans out there, but that is just my point of view.

Okay, ignore the rambling if you wish But I hope everyone likes it.
