“Each year i ask for many different things”

He started to count the spiders under the table, classifying them from size, type of web, how the little beings moved. Soon, he was naming them, and telling stories to the little guys. He felt especially attached to the bigger one, alone on a corner. None of the others came close to it, not mattering how much prettier and elaborated the strings it made were weaved on the wooden surface. So he told to the small buddy tales of summer places, sunflowers, and a time where there would be no one out in the cold, unless to play within the snow, so it would cheer him up.

“But now i know what my heart wants you to bring”

He was so enrolled with his whispered dream that he failed to notice another person sitting next to him.

“That sounds nice.” [f/n] smiled, hugging her knees close to her body.

“So please just fall in love with me this Christmas”

He smiled, but not his usual childish smile. He grinned as a man who was watching the sun for the first time.

“Da, it does.”

“There's nothing else that i will need this Christmas”

Because she was the only one who could melt the ice around his chest, making his icy heart pump warm blood through his frosted veins. It felt almost like summer when [f/n] was around. A season Russia knew nothing about it, since he was always surrounded by an eternal winter.

“Won't be wrapped under a tree”

But he felt like he did whenever she was near.

He leaned forward, kissing the forehead of a much surprised [f/n]. He startled the spiders, since he was so tall that his head almost took their webs away.

Ivan smiled against her skin.

“Счастливого Рождества, sunflower.”

[f/n] blushed in an adorable shade of red, so he grinned once more at the lovely sight.

“I want something that lasts forever”

She was his sun. And that was all he could ask for in that cold winter night.

“So kiss me on this cold December night”
