Got a smile on your face but there's a demon inside.ΒSomebody tell me how to draw realistic skin because I do not knoooooow. It's my Nightcore Mera again, this time inspired by the song Jekyll and Hyde by Five Finger Death Punch. I really hope it's not too dark to see haha.
Of course this is not canon - Mera does not have a zip on her torso with a demon inside her. It was just what came to me when I was thinking of ideas for the song
projectvampire is writing an AWESOME series based on Mera's adventures, so definitely go check that out - her psychotic nature is written brilliantly and without all those annoying crazy tropes you see eveywhere - it's definitely worth a read!

i really enjoyed thies peace, i am a fan of your darker imagery so this is right up my alley. so is the demon in her stomach with the red eye the same one turning her eyes red or is it a symbiont with another demon they stays in her as the other goes out to wreck havoc? Β Β

No, I very rarely plan my work. I rarely do different drafts to see what looks best either XD It usually just comes to me in my head and I try to recreate it

I do think she looks quite menacing and dangerous at this point and I love how you do the tones for her skin.
What I love most in particular, is the eyes glowing red against the shadow which clearly projects her intention.
Those sharp teeth marks on her mask added a nice touch to the painting.
The lighting are also good , just softly bouncing off on her skin. And if you fine tune the lightings on her, it willΒ
makes the painting pop out more.Β
Tbh, I thought she was holding a some sort of dagger when I first saw this, and also I find that there is something
off about the body posture, like you are looking towards her back instead from the way you position her right arm,
and her left arm looks a little bigger too. It is just what I observe.
But overall, it's a great piece of work, quite dark and sinister which just suits the title; Jeckyll and Hyde.
I was listening to the song, as I look at your painting. Not bad at all, think it blends well with the song.
