This is wonderful . I mean when I saw a previous pic I thought that this poor thing is done for . But this commando who aside from his humor also had a diamond heart and risked his life to safe her , even though no one ordered him to do so . Even in the darkest despair there are people like this commando who have bravery and will to resist it . But what scares me is how much of such children never met this guy and died .In my eyes EA fucked up (as usual ) C&C 3 . First of all - WTF GDI abandoned the yellow zones ? For allowing NOD to flourish and rebuild their and recruit hordes of more than desperate men women and children to use their wrath on them ? WTF GDI and NOD got rid of their arsenal from previous C&Cs ? GDI should learn that as long as someone won't bring Kane's head on a plate the war is far from over ? WTF they didn't show Tacitus and why all sides are so eager to have it ? C&C didn't deserve to end in clutches of EA .

C&C was a beautiful tale that was told throughout over 2 decades, even though its cut scenes were like B movies and campy, they were still done with passion and brought fun to the game. They brought wonder, which is how I imagined this picture, seeing an explosion that was big enough to be seen from space, I thought about how much terror someone close to its origin point would feel, let alone a child. I originally didn't plan on doing a happy ending, since war usually doesn't end happy but having a soft heart I decided to save the girl which is why the sequel was made. As for what happened to C&C, it built up to a magnificent point, a final battle between humans and the Scrin and the unknown being called Kane who wanted to return home but then EA suddenly had the bright idea of pulling the game's budget while at the same time trying to compete with Starcraft in its own turf and they yet expected results. EA is evil, these days a lot of publishers are evil, EA, Ubisoft, Konami, they've all forgotten how creativity brought them to where they are, and they will continue forgetting until they burn down. C&C is gone, and unless someone finds Joseph Kuncan and lets him do the series justice by taking it away from EA, it won't have the ending it deserves.

now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember reading about that. All of that I suppose was gonna come a head in the final chapter, but instead we got the garbage that was Tiberian Twilight.

In my eyes C&C 3 should be the final chapter and here aside from GDI , NOD , Scrin we would also have Forgotten faction . So in this chapter it was similar like in vanilla Red ,yellow , and blue zones and GDI trying to find solution as sonic resonance could stop being useful as tiberium was evolving . Unlike in vanilla GDI kept their units from TS , same for Nod and GDI was controlling much of the yellow zones or at least trying . Scrins would strike with all their might to retrieve Tacitus because it contained something that could be their undoing - In my eyes Tacitus was something like soul prison . The martian leader (as mentioned in original Westwood theory ) explained that Tiberium didn't work in the same way as it worked on Earth . First of all , Mars is much colder than Earth , and as we know , Tiberium doesn't like cold so it couldn't spread as fast as on Earth , and Martians ( it is to be decided at what civilisation stage they were , what was their immunity for Tiberium and did the Tiberium worked the same way as on Earth ) learnt to "grow " tiberium like a crop on place to their liking and how fast and enjoy the benefits from this and their civilisation flourished which of course Scrins didn't like and since their survival depended on Tiberium and they didn't wanted a competition since Martians didn't had to share their knowledge for free with them as tiberium was not just scrin property they destroyed martians like Romans destroyed Cartagine . However not all died . Tacitus in reality contained the soul and mind of the leader who waited patiently and hidden (If Scrins would realise the true purpose they would get a hammer and crush it to pieces , so he had to use rule silent but deadly ) owning an informations how to destroy the Scrins , not to mentioned that Tacitus was secretly gathering info about them , Tiberium and all what was dear for them so one day he can use that to shatter it all that not even the ashes would remain . It is just a part of the plot I think of . I hope you like it

that would have been a good way to end it, though I don't mind how the original went until Kane's Wrath, since it had set up everything quite well, especially with Tiberium War ending with a foreshadowing of the Scrin's true might coming to Earth to retaliate for the humiliating defeat of their mining force against some backwater civilization.

saved! excellent little sequel to :thumb131918687: her arm does look a LITTLE off, but the insane background more than compensates for it.
and yes, it did make me smile.

yeah thanks, that background took me three days to complete. And the pose is the first of my poses that's in perspective.

I don't really think about how much effort I put into drawing, or pretty much anything else for that matter.
From the sketch to the finished drawing, It does look pretty cool, I know I can't make awesome backgrounds like that.
