The devonti revamp/update for subeta. It seems to be just as liked as it was disliked. Or just as disliked at it was liked. XD The biggest problem people had with it, I think, is that I showed the other side of the lip, so the nose is a few pixels larger.The good news is that this means I wont have to edit the faces... of every single other devonti but galactic, angelic, and BR. (The last two are looking at us dead on.)
The horns were made to be a bit larger, because almost all of the redraw colours have them coming up that high as well, and the long coat hair, obviously, no longer defies gravity. c:
-pats Devonti- It cracked me up when someone told me I should revamp the devonti after they saw my sketch for Laer. I really wanted to tell them, "oh, I already am! 8D"

My... my first pet... a Common Devonti. This.
It is just so heartbreakingly cute and beautiful and perfect. I named mine Circadia, after the whole "Circadian rhythms" and such and hope to make her a Reborn Devonti to fit her name. It's thanks to your artwork that I'm so determined. Thank you for your work.

And I have been lovin on Devonti the whole time. It's SO adorable. I saw the old one, and it's already super cute, but the subtle changes you made to the face just make it irresistible. The ear-fluff poking out through the horns is my favorite part, I think, hahaha. ;A; Plus I love how you draw fluff in general.

What does this mean? Does this mean that you ARE revamping those? Because I admit, I'd LOVE nothing more than to see Galactic and Angelic get revamped. But I don't want anyone laying a FINGER on Bloodred. D:

I meant that the last two are looking at us dead on, so that the angle of the nose can't be seen. So we don't know if the artist actually drew it in the original style, or in the later, longer snout. Almost all of the special colours have the longer snout, excepting galactic, and angelic and BR are looking at us, so we can't see whether their noses were big or small.

The main one was revamped mostly because the shading was almost gradiented. It was too soft. If any of the special colours get revamped, it would likely be for the same reasons.

I still don't get how people complained so much?
The devonti got such minor changes done to it (in means of personality)
The anatomy and shading is heaps better
everything is just... better!
People complain about changes like its a matter of life and death :/

There wasn't that much complaining, honestly. It was mostly about the same thing. And I had it so easy with my frst species revamp, this was still really nice, actually. You got a lot worse over the ontra.

I guess what I mostly was was the complaining on the devonti and it looked like alot
but yes, the ontra got more, I am glad most people are used to it now and even liking it more as the recolours come out o3o

Eh, the ontra looks spectacular. It was a bigger change than what I did, so it got a lot more attention. The Devonti... does have a few big changes. (GRAVITY. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, GRAVITY.)
