Summary: Following training with Naruto to learn the Rasengan, Xenovia arrives to see what the blond was up to and have dinner with him. Seeing her for the first time, Konohamaru notes how beautiful the exorcist was, surprised that Naruto knew someone as pretty as her. It further surprised him to see just how calm and friendly he was acting around her, compared to how he was prior to knowing the bluenette existed. As the two prepare to leave, Naruto tells Konohamaru to tag along, deciding to treat him for mastering the first step of the Rasengan and moving on to the second step. At some point while walking towards the Yakiniku place Naruto and Xenovia decided to eat at, Konohamaru interrupts them and asks them a question.

Scene:

"You’re acting very friendly towards him, more than any of the girls Big Bro Naruto hangs around, too friendly to be exact. I'm just wondering...Did you two have, or still have, a thing?"

"A thing?" asked Naruto, who raised his left brow in a questioning manner.

"Are you both...very close is what I'm trying to ask."

"Ohhhh, so that's what you want to know," said Xenovia.

"So...what's the answer?"

"...Yes." This answer shocks Konohamaru, with Naruto having a blank expression on his face that didn't give Konohamaru any details on the two's close relationship. "...No...Maybe..."

"Well which is it?" asked Konohamaru, who looked desperate to know.

"Hard to say," Xenovia responds. "We could be a thing. I mean we’ve trained together, fought together, ate together, hung out together, occasionally lived together, bathed together, and slept in the same bed together, all within a span of over three years." During the time she listed the things she and the blond did together, Konohamaru's face slowly started turning red, steam coming out of his ears.

"You...you two bathed together?"

"Oh yeah. We're so close, we don't mind occupying the bath together. Having said that, you could say we're not only very close, but we have a thing. On the other hand, soldiers are known to bathe together regardless of sex, not to mention that Naruto and I are not only close friends, but also co-workers so there's a lot of professionalism between us, and we know that we're both fairly busy to lead romantic lives...at least for now...But wait, there is also my religion to consider, given that I can't engage in any sort of romance outside of my profession...Hmmm...This is a tough question Konohamaru...I think I'll leave it up to you to figure it out." Finished teasing Konohamaru, Xenovia walks forward in front of the two boys, a satisfied smile on her face from confusing the Sarutobi kid and leaving her exact relationship with the blond ambiguous.

"Big Brother Naruto, what she said wasn’t true right? You didn’t really bathe with her and all that? Right? RIGHT!?”

"...Yes...No...Maybe. Either way, I'm leaving it up to you to figure that out, along with our exact relationship," Naruto responds, the blank expression still on his face, which didn't help tip the kid on anything that’d help figure it out. Inside, Konohamaru knew this was going to bug him for the evening.
