Lord Osar, the Red, the Brutal, the Fierce... Many titles have been giving to this old timer of a war hero. His participation in the last war earned him a fearsome reputation as a warrior, having lead the infantry of the late king Isson into the then capital of the South (Castelei).

For his deeds in battle, he earned a considerable piece of land in the mountainous regions between the capital of the North and the passage to it. With this land he brought relatives and all who wanted to follow him, and founded a village, Stonos. After only a few years after retirement, his village grew a fair amount, and he was named Lord of the Lands by the villagers, and not long after, the king allowed him to castle his lands.

Through this, he's the newest lord in the mountains, and as the keeper of the passage to the capital, he's had his share of southerners and other scoundrels trying to wriggle their way into the North.

His methods of judgement and discouragement are widely known to be as brutal as he was as a young soldier. Those who do survive his treatment are only alive because he wants his words to be spread.

He wants to be feared, so he can keep defending the North whilst being enough to keep his own lands safe.
Few incidents have been reported where northerners have disappeared, not southerners. Some disputes have been made over the treatment against his own people, and whether it is a sound way of doing so.
Rumours are spreading against Osar, saying he's... perhaps.. losing a bit of that discipline he had as part of an army.

But even so, like in the case of Lady Heil, no authorities have looked into the matter of Osar as of yet... perhaps because his reputation is protecting the North more than the, now Queen, royal Ysolde likes to admit in council.

But with this blood craving hero as a lord and defender, are the people of the North safe once the southerners stop attacking?

I'm starting a new series of portraits, explaining some important lore characters in the current affairs of war in the Divide!
I will continue with both Southern and Northern characters.
