*whispers softly* This Nembra is utterly built to perfection and I- *thick sobbing* And I don't mean to push or anything but, if you ever want to trade for a custom of the Red God just for kicks or for serious purposes- *tears streak down my face* I would be so honored you don't even know because this Nembra just baffles me into awe.
And I feel bad for saying that (extremely bad), almost like I'm treading on a territory I shouldn't, and I apologize if I offended you. But I was intrigued so much by the Nembras when I was enlightened by their existence and now this epitome in front of me is just ugh. His features and characteristics, they just hit the author spot inside of me that shrieks outward and ;3;.

Is there a history behind the reason why they have that sort of marking on their mouth? Does it represent something?

Ah!
Well my story for him was that he used to be mortal, just a regular Nembra, born in the Wastelands and throughout his life, it would seemingly happen all the worst things to him.
So, not before long, he'd think that the gods had simply forsaken him and therefore cursed him. Skip some time and he tries takes his own life quite gruesomely but it fails, and instead he throws himself into a holy river, as to defy and anger the gods that ignored him. Thus, after dying in the river, and travelling its full length to the end pools, the gods notice him, and tries to make up for not seeing him, by returning him to life. The divinity of the river has by then seeped into his wounds and given him beyond magical abilities.
From then on he claims his purpose to See those the gods can't See. However his task is tainted by his hate for the true gods and he finds himself wanting to punish all who follow their cursed ways!
He's a poor sob who was given a second chance, and sullies it with emotions.
So basically, the wounds/ink running off his face and mouth is the representation of the wounds he tried to inflict on himself.
