Description Reky is probably the most ridiculously powerful 20th level character I've ever built. She's a Gestalt Warblade-Factotum Half Fiend Released Senphyr. There's various little cheap tactics I employed in her character build, such as a gestalt between two of the most powerful basic classes WOTC has produced, A little known weapon from faerun called the Manyfang Dagger, and the Battle Mastery + Robilar's Gambit + Combat Reflexes (Which allows her to get a +15 damage attack of opportunity against anyone who swings at her), not to mention all the stuff that a factotum can pull off.

Anyway, I figured I'd make my dream build before 4th edition comes out, and she was just so cool I had to paint her. Took me like, three and a half hours though. But its good.

Factotum and Warblade are by no means broken. Though Gestalt is. It's a good combo but nothing a Wizard of equal level could not Handel. Make that a Wizard 5 levels lower.

But still, very good piece of art. I have only one question. Where is here blade?

It's a pinup. She's obviously not gearing up to fight in this piece.

A wizard of 15th level cannot tank the tarrasque. Reky did. [link]
Perhaps an epic gestalt wizard-rogue level 25 could stand up to her. Maybe. But I have serious doubt.

Incidentally, her character sheet is in the description: [link]

Aside from backing up my girl here, thanks for the comment.

Arcandio In reply to Phoenix-rising-high [2007-10-15 01:50:57 +0000 UTC]

I can. "Legal God-modding" See?

Well, I rather doubt she'll ever actually see any use, except in a scenario where the other players are running similarly ridiculous characters. Like, perchance, a Deity, a Fiend of Possession, A gestalt Rogue-Warlock, and a full grown dragon. But hey, who knows. Maybe I'll throw her in somewhere as a "do not screw with this NPC" npc, though that would be totally lame, except as like the goal of a whole campaign. That actually might be kinda a cool game, with all those super powered characters.

hell yeah. In a normal campaign though, this is a chick that could level an entire continent to 399 feet below sea level, so a normal campaign is like.....1/2 a ex point. SOOO you'd probably have to drop her into a cave full of pissed off Elder Wyrms to even have her break a sweat...^_^

Arcandio In reply to Phoenix-rising-high [2007-10-15 03:20:41 +0000 UTC]

ROFL yeah, I was going to do a comparison between her and the deadly Tarrasque, but I forgot. Now is the time.

TARRASQUE VS ITHIA FIGHT!!!
(T first, then I)
Init: +7 vs +8
HP: 858 vs 236
AC: 35 vs 65 (fully magic'd up Ithia)
Attack: +57 (x6) vs +45 (with magic and feats)
Damage: 4d8+17 x1, 1d10+8x2, 1d12+8, 3d8+8 vs 4d4+56+120+40+45 x7, 1d6+9+120+45
Damage per Round: 105 (26+52+56+21) vs (270x7 = 2095 1890+175)

Okay, the boildown: Reky has to roll a 10 to hit with her highest attack, of which she gets three (two daggers and a bite), but the tarrasque needs only an 8 to hit Reky. Reky will have to get past his damnable 15/epic DR, BUT she's immune to crits. However, if they both roll the same thing for init, reky's damage says the poor tarasquey-wasky is dead twice over. NOW, thats with the silly manyfanged dagger. If we take that away from her, she's only got 516 damage per round. Unless she crits, or uses any maneuvers (which I didnt figure for simplicity) it'll take her just under two rounds to fell him, even with normal +5 daggers. It'll take the tarrasque just OVER two rounds to kill Reky in any case, unless his damage gets about 20% higher than average.

Phew. That was fun. I Reky kekiwe Ithia.

Unless if the Tarrasque gets pushed into a lake... then the fight would be over before the first round is up.

Oh wait... I forgot... that was done with a non-God modded character... :-P

She's in a campaign world I am writing (with the help of some friends). Unfortunately, with the looming of Fourth, we've had to set aside rules writing, which is what we're almost done with now, until fourth comes out so we can do a rewrite.

The world itself is similar to greyhawk/planescape with a lot of new material.

Arcandio In reply to Phoenix-rising-high [2007-10-15 03:43:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the world's pretty close to hammered out now, we really only have monsters, new spells, and geography descriptions to go. We're boasting more deities than faerun, but rumor has it they're clipping their numbers because people feel they had too many in the first place.

Not to mention reasonably detailed history for the last 10000 or so years. and very good history for the last 400.

Phoenix-rising-high In reply to Arcandio [2007-10-15 04:00:50 +0000 UTC]

..............*cough cough cough hack*
holy shit....Hmm, last 10k years, and decent for the last 400....hmm, you could hack and slash that up easily really, leaving certain races to have a greater memory of history, due to longevity...The humans are going to have a more "recent" memory, only going back maybe 200 year if something big happened, or else due to wizardly sort of libraries. Elves, dwarves, and other long lived races are going to have the mega heavy duty memory banks.

man, how long have you been working on this world?

Arcandio In reply to Phoenix-rising-high [2007-10-15 15:28:26 +0000 UTC]

Weeeell..... hm. We started the first campaign to enter the new universe back in highschool... so that'd have been about five or six years ago.

The basic premise is that there used to be a giant empire that ruled the whole continent. It was a good rulership and people liked the government. Magic flourished and there was no racism. THEN the Fiendwar happened, some 380 or so years ago. A god of fiends of all kinds decided he wanted to take over a material plane and picked this one. The Empire fought back, with dozens of epic characters at the leading edge of the fight. Though the empire did eventually fight off the invasion, the empire itself was in ruins. the magic that allowed the outlying areas to communicate with the capitol was destroyed and everything fell into chaos. In this aftermath, the lands saw the first rise of real nations, since everything had been unified for ten thousand years prior.

Now, the 89 nations are divided into 13 regions based on geography and politics. The middle of the place, once the capitol of the empire is full of fell magics that ward off travelers and adventurers. Inside this area is the legendary Athon City, where all the people from the Empire who are still alive as well as epic characters from the rest of the realm go to live.
