hey, pink was a very manly color in the 1800's. i think for awhile there women weren't even really allowed to wear pink. it was like "pink is a mans color, you girls stick with the soft feminine colors, like blue." and then it switched for whatever reason. history is neat like that.ย purple was originally reserved for kings too.

also i think i could fix up your avatar a bit. it could use a bit more definition in the face so the mouth doesn't blend in with the face so much and you can better see the teeth and eyes

really? i was kinda going for more of a self-depreciating sort of thing. like a "don't expect me to immediately understand you because people are complicated and i only know you through some pictures and a few lines of text so expect some faulty reasoning"

true. sure, your a awesome artist so do what you want :3 what you gotta know about me is that i love video games, i love art and my music. im doing things to help get out of my lazy routine. when thats done im going to a art course so i can draw better and make comics. then blah blah blah ย ย ย

and if you wanna get out of a lazy routine i'd suggest for you to try looking in your local library or books-a-million and the like.
it might not be the same everywhere, but at my local library i found a ton of graphic novels and how-to guides for drawing/coloring/inking comics. but failing that, there's always just hanging out in a book store or a Michel's craft store and just reading the how-to books, and maybe buy the best ones to keep handy if you have the cash to burn for it (although i didn't, hence all the reading in stores).
if you could do it regularly for a few weeks you'll probably learn more than you would in an art course or skimming through internet tutorials.
