flaming carrot is riding an ostrich, your argument is invalid.ever since my teacher loaned me his flaming carrot comics i've been a fan of the character (created by Bob Burden). he's just such a fun and unique character which i highly recommend to anyone who reads this comment.

A spinoff series, Carrot Patrol, by Geary, only ran 1 issue. Same for the superhero Urban Gorilla for all the promotion & hype & ballyhoo.
So when Flaming went self-publishing, I doubted it would survive and - drifted away. I still love the early issues, but still feel the Limbo story stole some ideas I could have used. Same for PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH.

I like how flaming carrot has remained popular enough that i often find graphic novel compilations of the series in my local comic book stores.
One of these days when i finally have spending money, im gonna buy them.

They were never offered on newsstands, so this is the first note of this I know of.
Also Bud Plant has not proven as reliable as I first thought it was. Amazon ? Forbidden Planet ?

you should totally check out some of the comic book stores then, or the larger book stores, since some of them now have pretty big comic book/graphic novel sections.
book stores especially is what i had to do for a lot of the comic's ive read.
I'd just go to book a million and sit and read the graphic novels for a few hours.
I was also pretty lucky tho cus my local library had whole shelf graphic novels i could borrow and read.
I'm not sure what you mean by bud plant though, and are amazon and forbidden planet comic book series or comic book stores? cus i haven't heard of any comics by those names.
but if you mean amazon as in the online store the i bet they would have the flaming carrot graphic novels. in fact i checked and saw the book ive got being sold for only $12

Amazon is a 'net dealer that offers & sells books, etc., and has helped me when Bud Plant let me down flat. You can open it on the 'net.
Bud Plant is a mail order outfit, but is not 100% dependable. They are choosy on what books they will offer, and you should check Amazon if you think a book may have come out, but Bud Plant chose NOT to offer it. The MAD hardbound collections 2-4 on were not carried by them. Bud Plant also can be contacted via the 'net. They have both paper and 'net catalogs.
I have gotten my Dick Tracy collections through Bud Plant. Volume 20 I am not ordering as I already had collected 95& of the story from the newspapers (1961).
Forbidden Planet is a comic store in NYC. They are or were on 12th street, but I'd have to make a special bus trip and a subway trip in to see them.

oh, and i feel obliged to tell you since you seem to be a deadpool fan. im currently working on this thing called a tumblr ask blog. essentially you ask the questions and deapool provides the answers. a lot of my gallery is from this, and in the description for every piece for the ask blog is a link to said blog.

What comic is this from? XD I saw the title, and was like "WHAT!?!" and came here.

he's from an old, but extremely funny, comic called flaming carrot. its about a guy who went insane after reading 5000 comics in one sitting on a bet. he started off as a bum on the street, fighting crime between getting in drunken fights and passing out, before becoming the owner of a laundromat and using that to finance his crime fighting.
there's alot more to the character but i dont want to spoil everything, plus im not that good at explaining things and am worried that i cant describe how awesome he is accurately. you really have to just read the comics for yourself.
