before i explain anything else, i just want to say that there will be a prize awarded to whoever can come up with a good nickname for this guy.the best nickname so far is "Smexy" but you still have time to try and top it before prizes are awarded.
alright, i know this isn't the sort of... "subject matter" that i normally do, and for the purpose of hopefully avoiding causing any of you to think particularly less of me, i feel that an explanation is in order. while browsing Slenderman fan art, i stumbled on a conversation between people who were annoyed at all the Slenderman porn there was. i suggested that people use Sexual-offenderman instead, recalling this picture of various Slenderman variations [link]
i was asked who that was, so i showed them the picture, but that got me thinking about this character, fleshing him out in my head, thinking of how he would act, especially around the other slenders, and i actually began to feel that he was a worthwhile character to explore. already i could think of memes, funny comics, awkward parodies, so i figured it would be best to just go ahead and record the basics for you guys. hopefully he can help take some of the rule 34 strain off Slenderman and maybe add a bit to the cartoon Slenderman mythos.

i understand that it's all parody, but rape and sexual assault of any kind is not something to fetishize, parody, or use as a joke. it's a fucking crime. these subjects should NEVER be used in a joking manner. at all.Β

which is why offenderman is primarily satire as opposed to parody.
because unfortunatly, those themes are already joked about and undermined, so having an effective satire becomes important as a tool for educating and helping people cope.
but any good storyteller type person will tell you that satire is a rare beast, and honestly? kind of unfortunately, Sexual Offenderman is really good satire.
like im an asexual person who mostly focuses on superheroes. i wasnt looking to actually do anything with the character, i was mostly just taking advantage of a pun for a joke back when a slenderman erotic novel was making the rounds as a meme.
then people latched onto him and started requesting more and more content, and being asexual, it's not like i was gonna just draw some porn and call it a day, that biz was way out of my wheelhouse. so i did stuff and made art that basically talked about an incredibly villainous sexual character in a very non-sexual way.
and a bunch of survivors of sexual assault began becoming fans of the character.
and they did so for a lot of reasons.
some appreciated having a straigtforward and unambiguous boogyman for the same reasons we would personify other fears or watch horror movies about things we're afraid of.
some appreciated how much he could be a commentary or way to make explaining on often ignored problems easier to understand.
some liked liked having an avenue to deal with their trauma that was less intimidating or stressful. like for younger people especially, putting these heavy topics in a format they're more comfortable with in creepypasta and online fandom was something they found incredibly helpful because it spoke on their level, and let them talk about such topics with their own peers and without having to out themselves as a survivor if they didn't want to.
and some appreciated how often he made others second guess themselves and their opinions on this stuff in such a way that encouraged them to consider things as horror instead of just titillation.
like for that last one especially, there have been multiple times in which survivors had said to me how incredibly satisfying it was to hear when people said some version of
" i may have started out dismissing this guy, but now that Ive had a chance to really think about it, im much more afraid of Offenderman than i am Slenderman".
and i could see why someone in their position would appreciate that sort of thing.
now theres plenty of shitty stuff out there, and even for offenderman content there's not much that can be done about people making changes in their own fan stuff that doesn't embody a source material, and there will always be more bad content than good.
but i would still say this a rare exception.
bus it's like, sometimes you gotta take things seriously, but still tell jokes at the same time. and also take the jokes seriously.
making sure not do the asshole stand up comedian thing of using the "it's just a joke" excuse. and instead learn from comedians like mel brooks, and do stuff like carefully, deliberately, and considerately, "make fun of Hitler" so to speak.
At least on the relatively rare occasions i do jokes with offenderman.

like how a straight man who is a rapist, will often also molest young boys because they're similarly vulnerable as many women are.

in that case he can usually draw them in with a weirdly colored/patterned rose, since even if they don't, making something weird enough is usually enough to get people interested.
Like imagine someone whipping out a florescent yellow, or a zebra patterned rose.
it'd be such a wtf sort of thing, even a hard core rose hater would probably still be intrigued.

Well i did try to do it anonymously at first, but people kept requesting more reference material for the character so they'd have an easier time making their own content, and before long i couldn't get rid of him if i tried.
