It's black because it's paste on. Natural henna let a brown stain. Black henna doesn't exist, it's a dangerous chemical dye

this is not black henna but natural henna paste on. Black henna is dangerous chemical dye which can be very bad for your skin and health. There is no way safe to turn henna black.
Look for harkous (tunisian black ink) or khidab (the yemeni version)

wow if only I could do that... I just got a small henna kit and tried my first one on a friend and it came out ok but not great.... got any tips? lol nice work by the way I love it...

henna kit are in general of bad quality, especially if you bought it in an Indian or Arab grocery. Henna must be fresh and of good quality, it is essential to be able to make fine lines and to obtain a good color.
