Description The weekend is reaching its end and we have reached the tenth character for this new game. This time, we have something special for you all.

As you can see, the tenth character is the iconic enemy from the Legend of Zelda-games; Octorok. Someone that I think you did not see coming, even when I hinted that this character would be an octopus.

Here is the moveset in detail:

STANDARD B: Rock Launch
Octorok leans its body forwards and spits out a rock that flies straight forwards (like in its “profile picture”). These rocks will fly at the same speed as Samus’ Charge Shots (without any charge) and deal as much damage as a Deku Nut (but without the stun). If the rocks does not hit anything (including opponents), after flying as far as Charizard’s Flare Blitz. Then the rocks will break in midair and the pieces will fall towards the ground. These rocks can also be fired while Octorok is jumping and even while it is performing its Down B. After this rock has been spat out, Octorok only needs to wait two seconds before it can shoot a new one. But after it has shot six of them (without losing a stock), it must wait thirteen seconds before its “ammo” will be refilled. When Octorok tries to perform this move before the thirteen seconds has passed, then Octorok will perform the motions but will instead shoot out air. If Octorok gets attacked while performing this move, then it will receive the intended damage and knockback from the move it was hit by. Then it must wait four seconds, before a new one can be shot.

SIDE B: Octorok Vacuum
Octorok rears its head backwards as it begins inhaling a lot of air into its body. This move works in a similar way to King Dedede’s Standard B and has the same reach. When an opponent gets close enough, it will be sucked closer to Octorok’s mouth. Then once the opponent is fully stuck, Octorok will wait a second and then launch the opponent out of its mouth. The opponent will receive around 12 % damage and a moderate amount of knockback. If the launched opponent collides with another opponent, then that opponent will also receive a small amount of damage. If Octorok gets attacked in any way while this move is performed (mostly from behind), then Octorok will stop inhaling and receive the intended damage and knockback from the move it was hit by. Octorok will also stop inhaling if the player pressed the B-button again or after it inhaled for five seconds without anything getting sucked in. Once Octorok has fully performed this move, it must wait five seconds before it can be used again. But if the move was cancelled (no matter how), then Octorok only needs to wait three seconds.

UP B: Octoballoon
Octorok starts squeaking as its head starts swelling up until it becomes almost three times larger than it used to be. Similarly to how it is in the left picture. Then Octorok floats upwards like a balloon for four seconds. The player is fully able to control the direction Octorok floats, but it is unable to attack the opponents. The speed that Octorok will float is faster than Duck Hunt Duo’s Up B, but it takes one second for Octorok to start floating as its head swells up. If Octorok gets attacked while it is floating upwards, then it will take half the intended damage, all the knockback and its head will revert back to normal. Once the four seconds has passed and Octorok did not get attacked by the opponents. It will revert back to normal and fall downwards in a helpless state. Then it must wait five seconds before it can perform this move again. If it tries to perform the move before the five seconds has passed, then it will try to swell up its head, but nothing will happen. Thus leaving it open to get attacked by the opponents.

DOWN B: Camouflage
Octorok jumps into the ground and disappears for two seconds. Then it will remerge at a different place on the stage, while wearing one of its three disguises. If an opponent gets too close to Octorok while it is disguised, then Octorok will peak out of the ground and spit a rock towards the opponent (just like during its Standard B). Though the player can make Octorok spit out a rock without an opponent coming nearby pressing the B-button. However, doing this affects the “counter” that keeps in heck how many rocks Octorok can fire before it runs out. Octorok can be forced out of its disguise when the player presses Down B, after it gets attacked by a move that affects the ground around it or after six seconds has passed. Then after either has happened, Octorok must wait ten seconds before it can put on another disguise. Regardless of which disguise was chosen.

The disguise that Octorok will chose depends on which button the player pressed during the time Octorok is in the ground after it jumped into it. If no button is pressed, then a disguise will be chosen at random.

* Pressing the A-button makes Octorok put on a plant-like disguise (like in the left pictures). Wearing this disguise will make Octorok slowly heal stamina over time at a rate similar to the Healing Sprout-item.

* Pressing the X-button makes Octorok put on a boulder-disguise (like in the upper-right picture). Wearing this disguise makes Octorok much sturdier to opponent’s attacks and becomes an additional obstacle for the opponents to deal with.

* Pressing the Y-button makes Octorok put on a disguise made of ice. It has the chance of freezing an opponent that touches it. Unlike the other disguises, Octorok can move around the platform it is buried in while wearing this disguise. But it is the weakest of the disguises, in terms of stamina.

FINAL SMASH: Tentacle Catastrophe
Octorok shakes its head while making a squeaky-sound that acts like a war-cry. After doing so, one of two different incarnations of the Bigocto will appear on the stage and affect the battle differently while it is there. But during both versions, the sky will become darker and more ominous. Each version of the Bigocto has a 50 % chance of appearing.

In one variation, the Bigocto from Ocarina of Time will fall down from the sky and land in the middle of the stage. Then after it has made a few “gurgling sounds”. It will move around the stage and attack the opponents by either ramming into them. Which deals twice as much damage and knockback as Robin’s Thoron. Or the Bigocto will perform a move that functions identically to Octorok’s Side B, except it has longer reach when it pulls opponents in and deals more damage and knockback when it launches the opponents away. However, the Bigocto cannot jump and moves at the same speed as Donkey Kong. While being twice as tall as Bowser. If it reaches the ledge of the stage, then it will stop and move towards the other direction. It can be damaged by the opponents, but even the moves that deals the most knockback will only push it backwards a short distance and stun it for ½ second. If an opponent attacks Bigocto with a strong enough move when it is next to the ledge, then Bigocto will fall down and the Final Smash will get cancelled. While Bigocto is helping, the player is able to fully control Octorok like usual. Then after ten seconds or after Bigocto gets knocked out the stage, the sky will return back to normal.

In the other variation, it will start raining as the Bigocto from Wind Waker appears in the background (which is now covered in water). While this incarnation of Bigocto is in the background, it will attack the opponents by lashing them with its tentacles. These attacks are random and cannot be controlled, but Bigocto has a habit of attacking the part of the stage where the most opponents are located. The player is still able to control Octorok while the Bigocto is in the background. This incarnation cannot be attacked by the opponents either. Then after it has performed five attacks, it will descend back beneath the water, the sky will clear up as it stops raining and the battle will carry on as usual.

If Octorok loses a stock while either Bigocto is helping it, then it will not disappear from the stage.

Now that this moveset has been released. I will take a short break, then I will work on the moveset for a certian axe-wielding knight.

Thank you very much for reading this moveset and have a wonderful day.
