EDIT: I wanted more emphasis on the Trainer, so I added a cliff, and placed Hikaru on top of it, while deciding to keep Torterra the same. I've noticed a few people have been going underground in their applications, and was thinking, "Surley Hikaru must've seen others going underground, or some signs of such" so I decided to have Hikaru show that he's aware of the other trainer's actions, and so I added the line of him telling his Torterra to use Earthquake to slow down the other players. I also added other trainers and their pokemon, but all shaded to give an emphasis on distance. I also added a black fire, with signs of smoke, as a sign of someone using a fire/dragon pokemon to warm themselves, or clear a path, wether its Flamethrower, or Dragon breath is up to you.

This is the first part for the Round 2 application, I wanted to make this one a landscape image, but because of how big the landscape is, my trainer and his Pokemon came out very small and hard to detail properly.

I wanted to show a completely frozen over Route 217, I added the lights to make it more dramatic, and broke one to show a more disastrous concept, but I decided to keep the area lit up, granted it should be darker, which I will edit later on.

Once I find more free time, I'll redo Hikaru, Torterra/Alphonse, and add Lucario/Righ, since its a key character for this image and contest. I uploaded it in an incomplete form, so I could show what I've been up to.

And before anyone even bothers, yes, I know the shadow of Torterra, should conect with the shadow of the snow he's on.

Hikaru is wearing is Winter oufit for the storm, a Black leather jacket, warm gray jeans, and black shirt.
