Vis stood a way's away, in a dark door way at the side of the room, her head tilted to the side gazing almost romantically at Vincent. She placed her gloved hand on the door frame, her pale index finger and thumb exposed from the cut-off tips. For a while, she was silent, only listening to the melodic tones and cries being beckoned from the string instrument by the tall man's hands. Only after he finished playing a full song did she speak up, in her normally airy and smooth voice, "Oh... Vincent, it's lovely to finally see you playing with effort... You are... quite incredible."

His playing style was rather odd in a way. While combining fast tunes, his body moved with the music, and danced along to his own rhythm. And rather complicated moves as well. He never showed this to anyone of course, and not much people actually knew he played the violin. Nor does anyone knew he dances... Then again most people in the academy thought he couldn't walk and therefore, cannot dance . You little troll.
He immediately turned back as heard Vis. He was too absorbed in his tune that he didn't even realize she was there, and sighed heavily. "Ohh, it's you," he scratched the back of his neck. "I was actually hoping no one would see it but... Thanks for the compliment. Really appreciate it."

Visessentia tepidly stepped out of the shadow, one slim leg and long foot slipping out from the part in her cloak. "My apologies," she uttered sincerely, pulling down her hood, "I heard the song coming from the room, and I wished to see who was making it. I am truly sorry for intruding." She walked a bit into the room, facing Vincent with both her hood and face cover down. Her eyes scanned up and down is body, glazing highly over the violin.

"What ? No. No you're not," he shook his head, denying it. "I don't mind at all, it was only a certain people I refuse to entertain... And in case you've forgotten, most of the students and staff at the academy thought I couldn't walk." He shrugged, and made an innocent face. "If they caught me dancing, it's the end of my act... Which I plan to continue for some time still."

Vis nodded with closed eyes, "I know. I do not intend on intend on soiling that for you any time soon." She stepped closer to him, looking at the violin. "I'm just glad you are not upset with me." Her head tilted, her eyes traveling up from the instrument, along his arm, and up to his face, as if the finely crafted musical tool was an extension of his own form. "You know, you are rather good. That tune you were playing was entrancing."

"I'd appreciate that," he nodded, twirling the bow of his violin a bit. "And why would I be upset ? You weren't doing anything other than watching... And snooping," he gave a little smirk. "Ah well I do that anyway, so who am I to judge ?" He glanced at the violin again, and clicked his teeth. "Oh, thanks for the compliment. Really appreciate that..." He seem to freeze for a second, seeming unable to accept compliments. Then again, don't we all ? "But I'm also trying other things though, I've been having guitar lessons with Cillian. That kid stinks at classic stuff, but he sure does shred on the guitar well."

A shy smirk formed on the girl's face, "I only did not want you upset for my listening in. I was unaware if you were compliant with people watching you. You are here alone after all. How am Ito take that?..." Finally, she turned her soft gaze back up to him, her deep purple eyes reading his emotions, "Not a problem. When someone is good at something, they should be told..." Her head tilted curiously as he explained about some form of taking lessons with Cillian, and she took this opportunity to humor the man, "Hm. So he is mentoring you now?... Hm-hmmm... Nice. That is very nice..." She did not want to make it sound belittling; she did admire his activities, after all. She simply wanted to poke a little fun and make a little light, and just that she did.

"Well." He shrugged. "Thought I'd be better off playing alone since some people don't like it Said my tunes sounds like a child's play but it's okay I can handle criticism." He blinked at her statement, then twirled the bow once again. "Nun ( Well ). I don't know how to respond to that, but alright." He made a brick face, still unable to get used to compliments. Then again, who does ? She noticed her curiosity, then scratched the temple of his head using the edge of the bow, clicking his teeth slightly. "Meh, I know it's somehow childish, but I was really curious on why he'd even take up something so noisy. Heck - most of my students like that kind of music. So why not ? I think I might even start to like the genre a bit more now..." A small smirk formed on his face as he thought of something ( most likely a prank for his colleagues ). "And I can make noises just to annoy the other teachers... I'd be having my payback sooner than I thought."

"It sounds like someone is either just not a fan of string.music or has nothing better to do with their time..." She looked at him softly, sensing his discomfort at her statement, "I hope you did not take that the wrong way. I was simply admiring..."
She listened as he spoke, a cool smirk crossing her.face, as well. "Hm, not at all... I admire an adaptable person, so long as it does not change who they are. I'm sure you would be just as elegant with a guitar as you are with a violin."

"Pfft, apparently yes, lately I have a lot of free time in my hands," he grunted as he kept back the violin in a glass cabinet. When peered closely, there were actually two violins in the cabinet - the classical one he just used being one of them. The other one was hidden behind a few books, but it doesn't look like regular classical violin. It seem to have more complicated things to it, as well as shiny black in colour with red streaks here and there. Looks too... Electronic. Maybe he can't shred on a guitar just yet, but he might just be able to shred on a violin. It's not impossible, though.
Her last words make him startle inside a little bit, but his face was still deadly cool and calm. "Well, I appreciate your words..." he started, trying to find the right words, as he was - sadly - still not used to compliments. "Thank you... I guess, but I like to try a lot of different things. There's still a long way for me to go - that is, if I don't get killed along the way, though."

"Well, I would rather see you spending it here than doing other things..." she bit her lip, thinking of the alcohol bottles she so often saw scattered about him. She peered into the cabinet, the semi-hidden instrument catching her eye by nature. It's sleek, dark appearance instantly sparked her interest, as most things as such did. Though she held back from asking much of it, for there must be a reason it was tucked back where it was.
Her ead raised and tilted as he responded to her compliment, and she replied back softly, "You are most certainly welcome..." She could sense his discomfort, and she was torn as to whether or not to push it forward. She knew he was unused to nice things being said of him, though she figured he needed to hear it. "Learning is always good," she chose a neutral statement, "it grows our ability to understand, no matter what we are learning of, so long as we are able to distinguish truth from lies."
