this may be too bleak, not sure I'm comfortable putting out this sort of imagery, so I may rework this minus the blades...I do so love the title though...

i really like the blades. they give the piece another dimension, made me stop and think about what the message is. a little more noise on the left side of the blades to blend them with the background just a bit might be cool. my 2 cents ...

hmm β¦ well art being a subjective medium the message can be different for everyone, but if youβre going to put me on the spot. i see the piece as tragic. the expression on her face combined with the dark eyes and her pose makes me think sheβs given up on something. the razor blades trail down into a pool of .. water or blood, and to the right of that i see what looks like a face, maybe a few of them (reminds me of pink floydβs the wall, probably watched that one to many times). in the end i see this women being dragged down by her drug abuse. the thing that confuses me is the background around her head. which reminds me a little of the statue of liberty and that just throws off the entire thing.

i think it looks heaps cool, but your right the razor blades do look a bit off compaired to the rest of the piece. great stuff!
