I Happened to know the Arena arrows in the new Hunger Games are the "Easton X7 Eclipse" arrows, And the bow is the "Hoyt Buffalo Recurve" - designed for hunting, and also used as the Hawkeye bow in The Avengers.
The film used various 2 blade broadhead tips, some with vents, like in the photo, and some without.
Her quiver held 12 arrows, with circular holes in the top - just enough room for an arrow.

Β Yeah I found those things out a good while after doing these based off of the "spy photos" from when they were filming. They actually have all black (Hawkeye) and silver and black (Katniss) versions of the hoyt buffalo now and I hope to be able to get one soon! I've been eyeing photos of the quiver too to make it in the future (part of it is visible in the pic on the left). Thanks for sharing the info!!

I heard they are releasing the Silver Riser for the Hoyt Buffalo in 2014, And I'm sure to get one. I don't see much of a way to make those holes for the quiver without having a field tip (target tip) because there isn't enough room for broadheads. I guess that had to do with production safety.

You're fine!
But honestly I couldn't tell you the brands of the things I used because I've thrown away packaging and the labels are painted over, sorry. But really what brand you use isn't important. And for the white stripe on the nock, the nock was already white and I covered a little bit with tape and painted the rest of it black while keeping that much white. However, with better pictures I noticed that those lines actually seem to be silver/metallic so I used aluminum foil tape and wraped a small piece on them there. Hope that helped

what exactly did you do to recreate the arrows? I'd like to make fully functional arrows like these but don't know where to start

Oh it was very very simple. I just bought arrows that matched the look of Katniss's in Catching Fire (the design on these ones is very common on arrows and should be easy to find) and the bits that were the wrong color I painted black. The arrowheads/points were also purchased. There doesn't really seem to have been much design work put into the arrows this time around as there was for The Hunger Games, it is a very simple design. Hope that helped! If you have any other questions just let me know. And in this picture you can kind of see the quiver for the arrows that I also customized and I will be posting it up on here at some point but I'm not really sure when exactly. -And on a quick side note- the arrowheads I have on these are known as brooadheads and are very sharp and leathal because they are meant for hunting (not target practice). I have practiced archery for years now and know how to handle them carefully, however I only use these for display. I would not suggest them if you are inexperienced with this kind of thing or if you are planning on shooting the arrows or using them for a costume or something. The people at whatever store you get the arrows from or info on the internet should be able to help you out with finding tips that suit your needs. Hopefully I helped a little! Good luck!
