Description I'd love to one day make a cartoon video of a drone-rock band. One like Monarch! (which this image is inspired by) or even something like SunnO))). If you ever see a drone-band live you'll know what I mean when I say that they have to exaggerate every movement. The idea behind "drone" is that the sound must be BIG. The best way to describe it is the title of SunnO)))'s third album: "Flight of the Behemoth". Think of a giant land-dwelling monster with strides so huge that it's virtually flying. It's this kind of BIGness that means arms fly up into the air and slowly come crashing down to make a HUGE sound when the chord strikes. Sometimes Greg Anderson from SunnO))) doesn't even strike the chord, he raises the guitar in the air and whooshes it down to use sheer resonance to sound the chord.

The drumming is also very captivating. Look for a video of Khanate on youtube and pay attention to the drummer. Hands are raised in the air for HUGE anticipation, every beat is a mighty crash. Although Khanate's music is very depressing so it's probably best to mute the sound while watching the video so you don't feel the urge to hang yourself.

Making a video of a drone song would be a heavy task because it would have to be VERY slow paced and would go for 15 minutes at minimum.

These are just rough unfinished poses but I don't really post much (because I don't have a scanner at home, this was scanned at work, plus I've lost my ability to draw with the tablet) so I'll post it in my gallery anyway. Ignore the line through the middle from the crappy scanner.
