This started off as a drawing exercise, but then one thing led to another and I thought I'd mess around with Actionscript with the idea of letting the viewer zoom in on the small details. I could probably expand on this idea and have multiple tiers of detail that appear and disappear, plus if I include a background I could throw in little easter-eggs and hidden (forbidden) secrets...
The mind races!
So anyway, what do you think of the picture?
AMENDED:
-made him grow and shrink incrementally faster proportionate to his size.
-added boundaries on how much he can grow and shrink
-had a heck of a time figuring out how to make him follow the mouse due to these new variables. Still don't think I've got it down.

I was driven crazy trying to find the secret message.
I failed
I like the art style here. Makes me wish there was a short artsy animation for it, telling the story of a boy in a panda outfit and his adventures in the school where everyone calls him "pandaboy."

The secrets were only an idea if I were to expand on this thing.
There will be some Pandaboy animations, most of them will be non-cannon (implying that there is a real story but I'm working on it), like the time he goes to the lost tomb of R'Lyeh and punches Cthulhu.

He's cute but don't see the need of flash in this case.

I'm too lazy to install Photoshop right now, so Flash is the most versatile digital drawing tool I have right now.
And you can zoom in and zoom out!!
Should I be making him blink or something?
