Sorry that I haven't posted much for a while, but it seems that I can't complete a lot of my recent sketches... They're sitting around, waiting to be finished, and I haven't even touched them. D:... I could submit the mess of them as one big scrap collage for those who are curious, actually.... hmmm...

As for the picture... Add a floating heart, a deep background, and a Kingdom Hearts style "Continue" menu to this picture and you'd have a game that SSH would probably commit multiple acts of homocide to obtain. x3;
Of course the game would have to follow his plotline as I'd love to play his stories out myself, and one can dream, can't she?
I sketched Klonoa this time based slightly more on his first form in the PS game Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (DtP), trying a slightly different hairstyle which I found worked very nicely on his cute little head. <3

I didnt use any reference... I'd seen the style tossed around a few times and decided to see if I could use it as well....
Though, I guess that I accidentally gave him the same kind of body that I'd use for Camaron.. hum...

Ah, since you mentioned it, I can see the SR shading here. And the hairstyle...It works rather well, methinks! I like it, and I'll probably have to use this pic as a reference when I someday try to start drawing

Which can be resolved by scanning the picture at a resolution lower than something like 200. I always scan all my pictures at a resolution of 110.

You really should look into Klonoa. He has a very intriguing story, living the life of a Dream Traveler. Although he seems to maintain a happy appearance, there's always something dark hidden in his life that seems to come up around the middle or end of his games that give you a sense of thought and practically urge you to want to learn more about him.
It's incredible.
