Personality:
Symon is...well, a feral scientist. He has a fifty-fifty chance of chewing on anything you give him and he's fascinated by biology and chemistry, to the exclusion of other things, like bathing, or holding a stable job. While he has a "home" of sorts, it's more like a laboratory-slash-shack in the middle of the forest. Half of his lab equipment is stolen or dug out of the ground, and the other half was purchased with money he got doing odd jobs for anyone who asked. Symon doesn't really know how to talk to people, but he wants to. He's desperately in need of friends and people who he can show his various projects. His two speech modes are "rambling monologue" and "practically mute" with little in between. But he's been making an effort to improve, and improve he has...though he's still not very good at holding a two-way conversation.
Symon "grows his own snacks". In test tubes. They're neon colored. He offers to share, but do you really want to?
Surprisingly responsible when it comes to taking care of animals...it's pretty much the only thing he's responsible with.
Can't sleep without at least two walls to his back.

History:

When he reached adulthood, Symon cut all ties with everyone he knew and disappeared into the forest rather than explain to everyone he was trans. It wasn't hard - Symon didn't exactly know very many people. He adopted a new name based entirely on what he thought was cool, then tried to go to college. Tried being the operative word. As it turned out, Symon wasn't very good in formal learning environments. He more or less stole a few textbooks and then dropped out to travel across the Scatterstar Isles, exploring and doing weird science. At one point, he tried to get himself together and joined the Archeologist guild, making it two weeks before he got distracted by something else.
