Description
Another design I had created to fit for a half back piece. The outer elements of the design were left unfinished so that the placement would fit in with existing tattoo work that went across the upper part of his back and along his spine. The idea was to have a kraken holding a trident amidst crashing waves. So I did some research and tied in what I felt had a very Japanese feel to the torrid waves with the Kraken breaking the waters surface brandishing Poseidon's trident.

Overall I was very happy with the finished piece as well the customer was floored by it, having come out better than they had pictured the idea in their mind.
