I was in high school when this came out on Toonami when it was on back in the day. Outlaw Star is my next favorite series of all time after Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Those 2 series, along with others, is what got me into anime still today.

Word. I'll never forget a con I went to last year, and there was another guy dressed as Gene like myself, 2 Aisha cosplayers, and 2 Melfinas. Talk about random! We had a lot of fun w/ it. The only downside was I only saw one of the 2 Mel's, I only knew of this from word of mouth.
