Sequel to [link]I'm not gonna lie, I've cracked jokes and stereotypes about furries but I know better than to group them all in as one community of animal screwing psychos. There are "regular" people that are more known to do worse.
So would you believe that there are dipshits out there that have no reason of hating furries beyond EDiot-mainstream?

The new trend among fur-haters seems to be hating wolves just because a lot of people like wolves. some even go so far as to trying to incite people to go out and shoot whole packs, just because they are annoyed by popular things.

I'd believe it.( Doesn't help that most people probably learn about furries from things like the CSI episode, and then never bother to find out anything more about them.) Every fandom has it's wierds, and unfortunately those are the ones who seem to end up being the base for stereotypes.

I had to turn to the great wide internets to find out who these 'furries' were, and what they were up to. (I learned quite quickly what terms not to search...
My conclusion? "Oh! They draw/dress up like animal people. Cool." I know a handful of furries I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, but that's cause they're creeps, not cause they're furries.

I don't even see a point in talking about furries as seperate sort of people. They're comparable to animu fanz. People don't treat people who constantly watch and talk about anime as separate from the regular public (Ok, that's a lie. People totally do, but let's roll with this.). I don't really see things like this in such concrete separate terms as much as I let on. If someone draws anthropomorphic characters more than hoomans, and even has a drawing of one they say is supposed to represent them, more power to them. They really aren't different from us, because they are us. (Lion King 2 reference lol)
