just installed painter 9 on my PC at home and thought id give it a quick test run for half an hour, and heres the result

sooooooo awsome, i dont know why i like it sooo much better then the others but it is soo good. i love the color red and you used it so well. the eyes are amazing, and we can see the brushstrokes yet it all fits. nothing is out of place. i love it!

I'm in love with this piece. I love the scale and use of colour on the background, and the angle in which the face has been depicted. It's beautiful.

i also just installed painter 9,
but it's the first time i'm going to work with it.. i tried some things already,
i was wonderering, what brushes did you use? artist's oils? blaech?
and uh, did you first sketch with a pencil in a layer below?
