Thanks, glad you liked, this picture was made with regular Faber Castell graphite pencils, to get the thin lines done, I kept sharpening the pencils with a little knife I own for this purpose

He is a temple tanuki, traveling in a spiritual path through the mountains with his always vigilant hawk familiar. The journey is just beginning but he already got deeply into the place's silence and peace.

Too many people today forget how beneficial taking some time to themselves is.
On a different note, the eagle looks rather bored with the raccoon. So to distract it form its boredom, the raccoon gave it one of its many medallions to shake around occasionally with its talon like an infant with its noisy toys when it gets too bored.
And since that wasn't enough, it also had to construct a perfectly balanced pile of rocks.

About what you said, I think that it is essential to have some time to spend in solitude, giving space for the mind to wander beyond everyday's deeds.
