Hrm... So this is the second of my vacation sketches I'm putting up here! Another one I really liked, just for the way the idea came about, but even for how it looks. =3 As you can tell, I'd think, that's Powder as an angel. Not that she ever wasn't an angel, but she at least has the look now! xD *shot*

Got the idea while listening to Sunrise by Duran Duran on my luffly CD player. (If they had a stereo or something, I woulda used that, but nope! ¬¬ *kicks tape players*) Whenever I hear the song, it makes me think of the sky (obviously), and naturally, that leads me to think of flight. ^.^ Now normally Awlora comes to my mind when I listen to it, but this time I was thinking of Powder. Reminded me of her long-had dream to fly, and I wanted to make it possible for her, but in a practical way... Not like giving her a kite and saying, "Ok, hang on to that!" o.o But I thought of her personality and how that could help; I mean, the girl's like a God-sent angel without the wings and halo! So then I gave her the wings and halo! Woo! Practical, ain't it? : D *bricked*

So yeah, that was the best thing I could come up with to make her fly. x3; If the idea sucks, well I'm sorry, but the Powder is not good with ideas. So NYEH! D: *shot* >> This one was harder than most other sketches I've ever drawn, and took much longer... 45 minutes, I think. o_O; That one wing was absolute murder to do, and even then, I think I screwed up on it somehow! @_@

But eh, I liked it either way. ^.^ Sooo I hope you do too! x3 Happy birthday and see yeh tomorrow with a new picture! d:
